About Us

Welcome to the 2nd Braunston Scout Group Website. We are a small village group drawing mainly from the young people who attend the village school, and other local villages.

The Group meets at The Den which is made up of four cottages which were kindly donated to the Scout Group in the 1960s.
Volunteers converted three of these cottages into a hall in the late 1960s and extensive works have been carried out each decade since.

Our group provides a range of indoor and outdoor activities to suit a range of ages.

Scouting actively engages and supports young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.

We look forward to welcoming you to our Group.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
